I would really love this to be a great blog about plastics and the environment. But a blog is only valuable if people are reading it. So I’m inviting you,to contribute to my blog. Here’s a few suggestions of how.
Have a topic you would like for me to cover. Want to know more about bioresorbable stitches,or how recycling works? Is there a hot new product out there I need to write about? Send me a Topic Suggestion. Some topics will take longer to research than others but I’ll see what I can do.
Know of a company (or even work for a company) that is making strides towards improving their packaging or plastic waste stream. Send me Companies making a difference. Contact information for the employee that can send me official information about the initiatives would be great. Or if that’s your job send me your press packet.
Know of a product made of plastic that improves our quality of life? A product that we take for granted? Something that is better,cheaper,stronger,more durable,or ends up helping other parts of the environment* because it is made of plastic? Send me suggestions for my I <3 Plastics series. (*think cars with better fuel economy because they are lighter).
Are you an expert in composting,recycling,bioplastics manufacturing etc (If you are a Plastics Engineering Professor and have found your way to my blog I would love to hear your take on plastics and the environment.)? I have so many ideas already but having lists of ideas on the side is great. Please feel free to comment on posts with opinions and questions. Maybe your comment will spark an idea for a post,or at least it will encourage me to keep posting as I’ll know people are reading it.
